About Gaffer

What is Gaffer?

Gaffer is the simplest way to host, track, and understand your test results. Upload reports from any CI pipeline and get shareable links, flaky test detection, coverage trends, and health scores — accessible from your dashboard, CLI, or AI agent via MCP.

Whether you're using Playwright, Jest, Vitest, pytest, or any other test framework, Gaffer helps you understand your test suite health at a glance.

Why Gaffer?

Test reports are often buried in CI logs, hard to share, and impossible to analyze over time. Gaffer solves this by providing:

  • Instant sharing via unique URLs for each test run
  • Historical analytics to track pass rates and durations over time
  • Automatic flaky test detection to identify unreliable tests
  • Coverage tracking with PR gating via GitHub commit status
  • MCP server for AI coding assistants like Claude Code and Cursor

About the Founder

Gaffer is built by Alex Gandy, a software engineer who got tired of digging through CI logs to find test reports and wanted a better way to track test health across projects.
